Search through Figma main menu items.
Search
Search through system menu items in the Mac client. Called from the Help menu item.
The main tool that selects and moves objects.
A tool that enlarges and reduces objects.
The tool draws rectangular screens, which we will later turn into prototypes.
A tool that cuts the visible canvas for export.
A tool that draws rectangles.
A tool that draws vector arrows, convenient for diagrams.
A tool that draws circles and ovals. We remember by the word Oval or the shape of a circle.
A tool that draws triangles and other polygons with radial symmetry.
The tool draws stars, you can change the number of rays.
Tool for inserting images of any size. You can also drag them into the work area, but then they can be a maximum of 4096 px on the long side.

The link to the File Browser (menu of files and projects) is only available inside the open file in the web version.
Open File URL From Clipboard
Opens a file via a link if it is copied to the clipboard.
Close Window
Closes the current client window. Relevant if there are several windows.
Close Tab
Closes the tab.
Reopen Closed Tab
Reopens the last open tab.
Interface Scale / Reset to Default
Restores the interface scale to the default value - 100%.
Interface Scale / Make Larger
Makes the interface scale larger by 10%.
Interface Scale / Make Smaller
Makes the interface scale larger by 10%.
About Figma
Shows the client version.
Check For Updates...
Checks the server for updates and allows all tabs to be reloaded.
Quit Figma or Exit
Closes the Figma client.
Color Space / sRGB
Switches the color profile to Managed sRGB. This is a standard that helps ensure that colors appear the same as in the browser. This profile is always used in Figma in the browser. May be duller on export than Unmanaged.
Color Space / Unmanaged
Switches the color space to Unmanaged, disables color management from Figma. Allows you to work in the operating system profile. There may be differences in colors between different screens and systems.
Save local copy...
Saves the current file as a local file with a .fig extension. In the Mac client it is called Save as .fig...
Save to Version History...
Saves the current state of the file to version history and allows you to configure what it will be called.
Show Version History
Shows a list of saved versions of a file.
Export...
Exports all layers that have the export flag set.
Export Frames to PDF...
Exports frames on the current page to PDF. Convenient for assembling presentations.
Undo
Undoes the last action.
Redo
Returns the last undone action. It only works if there is something to return.
Cut
Cuts the selected layer.
Copy
Copies the layer to the clipboard.
Copy as Text
Copies the layer's text content without formatting. Works if the text layer is selected.
Copy as CSS
Copies the CSS attributes of the selected layer.
Copy as SVG
Copies the SVG code of the shape to the buffer. Works if a vector shape is selected.
Copy as PNG
Copies the selected fragment as a PNG to the buffer. Convenient for further insertion into Notion or Telegram. Works if the layer is selected.
Paste
Inserts the contents of the buffer. If you select a frame, it inserts while preserving the coordinates.
Paste Over Selection
Pastes the contents of the buffer at the same coordinates as the selected layer, on top of it. It works if there is a layer in the buffer and the layer that will serve as the source of coordinates is selected.
Duplicate
Duplicates the selected layer. If a master component is selected, inserts an instance on top of it.
Delete
Deletes a layer or selected point.
Set Default Properties
Sets the shape settings as the default for all new layers. Works if a shape or text layer is selected.
Copy Properties
Copies the properties of the selected layer. Allows you to move raster images from one shape to another. Works if a shape or text layer is selected.
Paste Properties
If a shape or text layer is selected, pastes the previously copied properties. Works if a shape or text layer is selected.
Pick Color
Pipette. Allows you to specify a point on the work area. The color from this point will be set to the Fill setting of the selected layer. Works if a shape, line or text layer is selected.
Select All
Selects all objects of the first level of hierarchy on the current page.
Select None
Removes selection, if there was any.
Select Inverse
Inversion of selection. What was highlighted loses its selection, and what was not selected becomes highlighted.
Select All with Same Properties
Selects all layers with identical Fill, Stroke and Effects settings.
Select All with Same Fill
Selects all layers on the page with identical fill settings.
Select All with Same Stroke
Selects all layers on the page with the same stroke setting.
Select All with Same Effect
Selects all layers on the page with identical effects settings.
Select All with Same Text Properties
Selects all layers on the page with identical text settings.
Select All with Same Font
Selects all layers on the page that use the same font.
Select All with Same Instance
Selects all instances of components that share a common master.
Start Dictation...
Allows you to use voice text input through macOS system tools.
Emoji & Symbols
Shows the system emoji palette. Useful for marking pages with emojis. We use: ? ? ? ?
Show Pixel Grid
Toggle mode, reveals or hides the pixel grid, which is visible on a large scale, from 800%.
Show Layout Grids
Toggle mode, shows or hides the main base or modular mesh, if configured.
Show Rulers
Toggle mode, shows or hides the ruler in the work area.
Show Outlines
Toggle mode, switches the work area to contour mode for displaying objects.
Pixel Preview
Toggle mode, develops or smoothes pixels on a large scale. Needed to draw clear icons under 1x.
Show Mask Outlines
Toggle mode, shows or hides green borders in masks. It’s more convenient to hide, they are perceived as an extraneous green outline.
Show Frame Outlines
Toggle mode, shows or hides gray borders of frames.
Resource Use
Toggle mode, shows or hides the indicator of the number of layers and memory usage by Figma.
Show UI
Toggle mode, shows or hides the Figma interface when you need to present the canvas.
Show Multiplayer Cursors
Toggle mode, shows or hides the cursors of other users in the file.
Open Layers Panel
Opens the Layers tab with a list of layers in the left panel.
Open Assets Panel
Opens the Assets tab with a list of available components in the left panel.
Open Design Panel
Opens the Design tab with the selected layer's settings in the right panel.
Open Prototype Panel
Opens the Prototype tab with prototype settings in the right panel.

Show Left Sidebar
Toggle mode, shows or hides the layers panel on the left.
Zoom In
Makes the work area twice as close.
Zoom Out
Doubles the work area.
Zoom to 100%
Returns the scale to the default value of 100%.
Zoom to Fit
Places all objects on the canvas in the visible work area. Convenient to look around.
Zoom to Selection
Places the selected layer in the work area at maximum scale, convenient for viewing details.
Previous Page
Scrolls to the previous page.
Next Page
Turns the page to the next one.
Zoom to Next Frame
Places the next frame in the work area. Convenient for switching screens.
Zoom to Previous Frame
Places the previous frame in the work area.
Find Previous Frame
Selects the previous frame on the canvas that is located to the left of the current one. If the frames are vertical, the top one is selected. Works if a frame is selected.
Find Next Frame
Selects the next frame on the canvas that is located to the right of the current one. If the frames are vertical, the bottom one is highlighted. Works if a frame is selected.
Toggle Full Screen
Toggle mode, expands the Figma window to full screen or minimizes it back.
Group selection
Wraps the selection into a group.
Frame Selection
Wraps the selection into a frame.
Ungroup selection
Removes the wrapping group or frame from the selection.
Use as Mask
Toggle mode switches the shape to masking mode, which allows you to hide all layers above it in the layer list.
Set as Thumbnail
If a frame is selected, makes it the file's cover image, which is visible from the file menu.
Restore Default Thumbnail
If the selected frame is configured as a file's cover image, restores the default cover image—an overall appearance of the first page of the file.
Add Auto Layout
If a frame is selected, switches it to Auto Layout mode. If one or more layers of other types are selected, wraps them with a frame in Auto Layout mode.
Remove Auto Layout
If a frame is selected in Auto Layout mode, disables this mode and switches the frame to Constraints mode. For some reason it’s not in the main menu, only in the context menu.
Resize to Fit
If a frame is selected, shrinks or stretches it to fit the visible content.
Toggle Clip Content
Toggle mode reveals or hides the contents of the frame that are located outside its perimeter.
Create Component
Makes the selection a master component.
Swap Component Instance
If we drag a component from the Assets list and drop it onto an existing instance in the workspace and hold down this key, we will replace the master with it.
Reset all overrides
Resets all overrides in the instance to the original master state. Works if a component instance is selected.
Detach Instance
Breaks the connection with its master, turning the instance into a frame. Works if a component instance is selected.
Go to Main Component
Allows you to go to the wizard. Works if a component instance is selected.
Push Overrides to Main Component
Registers his overrides in the master. Works if a component instance is selected.
Restore Main Component
If the component's master was deleted, resurrects it. Works if a component instance is selected.
Return to instance
If the instance had a master opened through the commandGo to Main Component, returns back to the instance.
Bring To Front
Places the selection at the very top of the list of layers.
Bring Forward
Places the selection one layer higher in the list of layers.
Send Backward
Places the selection one layer lower in the list of layers.
Send to Back
Places the selection at the very bottom of the list of layers.
Flip Horizontal
Reflects the selected layer in the horizontal plane.
Filp Vertical
Reflects the selected layer in the vertical plane.
Rotate 180*
Rotates an object 180*, adding this angle to the current Rotation value.
Rotate 90* Left
Rotates the selected layer 90* counterclockwise, adding this angle to the current Rotation value.
Rotate 90* Right
Rotates the selected layer 90* clockwise, subtracting this angle from the current Rotation value.
Flatten selection
If several shapes are selected, combines them into one layer.
Outline stroke
If a shape with a stroke is selected, separates this stroke into a separate shape and draws it with a fill.
Union Selection
Combines selected shapes into a Boolean group with Union logic, in which the visible part is formed from the common contour of both shapes.
Subtract Selection
Combines selected shapes into a group with Subtract logic. The visible part is formed from the bottom layer, and the top layer is cut out from it.
Intersect Selection
Combines selected shapes into a group with Intersect logic. The visible part is formed from the area of intersection of the lower and upper layers.
Exclude Selection
Combines selected shapes into a group with Exclude logic. The visible part is formed from the common contour of both shapes, from which the contour of their overlay is cut out.
Rasterize Selection
Converts the selection into a raster layer of Image type.
Show/Hide Selection
Eye is a toggle mode that hides or reveals a layer, and also re-loads the raster image into layers of the Image type.
Lock/Unlock Selection
Lock is a toggle mode that blocks the ability to select and move the selection.
Hide Other Layers
Switches all layers except the selected one to Hidden mode (see eye).
Collapse Layers
Collapses all layers in the layer list to the first level of the hierarchy.
Remove Fill
Removes fill settings.
Remove Stroke
Removes stroke settings.
Swap Fill and Stroke
Swaps the fill and stroke colors.
Join Selection
Connects two anchor points with a straight line. Works if two anchor points are selected.
Smooth Join Selection
Combines two bezier curve anchor points and shows bend whiskers. Works if two anchor points are selected.
Delete and Heal Selection
Removes an anchor point without breaking the path. Neighboring points from a remote point are connected by a line. Works if the anchor point is selected.
Create link
Allows you to configure a hyperlink. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Bold
Bold. Toggle mode, switching the selected text block or text fragment to bold.
Italic
Italics. Toggle mode, which switches the selected text block or fragment of text to italic style.
Underline
Underlined. Toggle mode, switching the selected text block or fragment of text to an underlined style.
Strikethrough
Crossed out. Toggle mode, switching the selected text block to a strikethrough style.
Text Original Size
Restores the original letter case. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Text Upper Case
Switches letter case to all caps mode. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Text Lower Case
Switches letter case to all lowercase mode. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Increase Font Size
Increases the font size by 1 point. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Decrease Font Size
Decreases the font size by 1 point. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Increase Font Weight
Increases font weight by switching between Regular, Medium and Bold weights, if available. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Decrease Font Weight
Reduces font weight by switching between Regular, Medium and Bold weights, if available. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Increase Line Height
Increases line spacing by 1 point. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Decrease Line Height
Decreases the line spacing by 1 point. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Increase Letter Space
Increases tracking in text by 1%. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Decrease Letter Space
Reduces tracking in text by 1%. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Text Align Left
Sets the text alignment to the left. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Text Align Center
Sets the text alignment to the center. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Text Align Right
Sets the text alignment to the right. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Text Align Justified
Auto power off. Sets text alignment to both edges, stretching whitespace. It is not recommended for use in interfaces. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Text Align Top
Sets the vertical alignment to the top edge of the text block. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Text Align Middle
Sets the vertical alignment to the center of the text block. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Text Align Bottom
Sets the vertical alignment to the bottom edge of the text block. Works if a text block or text fragment is selected.
Round to Pixel(s)
Shifts the selected layer onto the pixel grid, removing coordinate values after the point. Works if the layer has fractional coordinate values.
Align Left
Aligns selected layers to the smallest (leftmost) X coordinate value among the selections. Affects the X coordinates. Everything will fly to the left. Works if at least 2 layers are selected.
Align Horizontal Centers
Aligns selected layers to horizontal geometric centers, bringing them to the same vertical axis. Affects X coordinates. Works if at least 2 layers are selected.
Align Right
Aligns selected layers to the largest (rightmost) X coordinate value among the selections. Affects the X coordinates. Everything will fly to the right. Works if at least 2 layers are selected.
Align Top
Aligns selected layers to the largest (topmost) Y coordinate value among the selections. Affects the Y coordinates. Everything will fly up. Works if at least 2 layers are selected.
Align Vertical Centers
Aligns selected layers to vertical geometric centers, bringing them to the same horizontal axis. Affects Y coordinates. Works if at least 2 layers are selected.
Align Bottom
Aligns selected layers to the smallest (lowest) Y coordinate value among the selected ones. Affects the Y coordinates. Everything will fly down. Works if at least 2 layers are selected.
Tidy Up
Compares the distances between layers so that they line up in an even horizontal or vertical sequence. The algorithm will try to find a pattern between the indents and bring those that differ to the standard. Works if at least 3 layers are selected.
Pack Horizontal
Removes the horizontal distance between layers so that they line up without padding. Works if at least 2 layers are selected.
Pack Vertical
Removes vertical distances between selected layers so that they line up without padding. Works if at least 2 layers are selected.
Distribute Horizontal Spacing
It will equalize the distances between the layers so that they line up in an even horizontal sequence. Affects the X axis. Works if at least 3 layers are selected.
Distribute Vertical Spacing
It will equalize the distances between layers so that they line up in an even vertical sequence. Affects the Y axis. Works if at least 3 layers are selected.
Distribute Left
It will equalize the distances between the layers so that they line up in an even horizontal sequence. The alignment will be left to right, so the rightmost margin will remain floating. The first and last layers will remain motionless. The padding between all layers will be calculated from the average padding value before the command was applied. Works if at least 3 layers are selected.
Distribute Horizontal Centers
It will equalize the distances between the layers so that they line up in an even horizontal sequence. Alignment will occur along horizontal centers and the spacing between objects will depend on their width. The first and last layers will remain motionless. Works if at least 3 layers are selected.
Distribute Right
It will equalize the distances between the layers so that they line up in an even horizontal sequence. The alignment will be from right to left, so the leftmost margin will remain floating. The first and last layers will remain motionless. The padding between all layers will be calculated from the average padding value before the command was applied. Distribute Top

Zoom
Mac: Toggle mode, which maximizes the current Figma window within the screen without switching it to full-screen mode. Or it minimizes the maximized window back to compact mode.

Snap to Geometry
Snap to Objects
Toggle mode, which includes snapping objects to each other. When you shift layers, you see red hint lines.

Toggle mode, which enables snapping of objects to a pixel grid and allows you to avoid fractional values in coordinates.
Keep Tool Selected after Use
Toggle mode allows you to configure whether the tool remains selected after use. If disabled, the tool selection will return toMove Tool.
Move Tool.Highlight Layers on Hover
Toggle mode, if enabled, allows you to see hover selections on layers. If disabled, we see hover only in the list of layers.
Rename Duplicated Layers
Toggle mode allows you to configure whether layers, when duplicated, will receive unique names, or will retain the name of the original.
Show Dimensions on Objects
Toggle mode allows you to configure whether the dimensions of layers are displayed when they are selected.

Toggle mode, if enabled, when zooming, the selected object always appears in the center of the work area. If disabled, zoom operates regardless of the selection.

Toggle mode allows you to determine how the number keys will be used. If enabled, they adjust the object's danger in 10% increments.
Nudge Amount...
Allows you to configure the object shift step. Default 10, convenient: 4.
Libraries
Opens the Libraries window, where you can configure connected libraries or publish the file as a library. Close: Esc .
Keyboard Shortcuts
Built-in panel with hotkey hints.
Account Settings
Opens the account settings screen, where you can change your password and set an avatar.
Log Out
Allows you to log out of the client.
Select layer → [layer name]
Allows you to select the desired layer in the current layer hierarchy.
Move to page → [page name]
Allows you to move a layer to another page.
Rename
Renames the selected layer.
Plugins → [plugin name]
Allows you to select the desired plugin and open it.
Copy Link
If a frame is selected, allows you to copy a link to a file linked to this frame from the context menu.
